Ingredients

  • Milk-1 1/2 glass
  • Semolina-1tbsp
  • Ghee as required
  • Pineapple essence-1tsp
  • Yellow food colour-1tsp
Method
  • Take a pan.
  • Add milk into the pan.
  • Add semolina into the milk and combine both together.
  • Turn on the stove and cook this until its become thick.
  • Add pineapple essence for nice smell.This step is optional.Also you can add various essence like vanilla essence  depends your favour
  • Add yellow food colour.This step is optional.Also you can add various colour depends your favour.
  • Stir continuesly .Otherwise it will burn.
  • Add little by little ghee into this .So that it start to reach its halwa structure.
  • the halwa is ready when it starts to slip out of the pan.
  • Turn off the stove and move this into a bowl.
  • Place a foil paper in a table .
  • Place the halwa dough in one end of the foil paper.
  • Cover the halwa with half of foil paper and roll on it with a chapathi roller.This step is done to reduce the thickness of the ice halwa.
  • Separate the foil paper from the halwa and place a butter paper on it.
  • Flip the halwa along with butter paper and foil paper.
  • Again replace the other side foil paper with butter paper.
  • remove the excess portion of the halwa than the butter paper.
  • Divide the halwa into 4 portion.
  • cut them and place it like in the above given picture.
  • Refrigerate and have fun having bombay ice halwa.
