steps of making

  •  Heat oven in 180deg .

  •  Add  maida,baking powder,baking soda,salt  and beat  well.
  •  Then add ghee,vegetable oil,egg,sugar and beat well.then add maida  into this and beat well.
  •  Add lemon juice and orange peel and stir well.
  • Then pour this into the  cake tin  and put into the oven and bake well.


  •                                 Its a small circular type cake . Macaroons are tastier and also look beautiful because of its colours.The name macaroons came from italian macarano .and its a combination of the almond ,sugar,salt,egg,almond extract and desired fillings.Almond and egg whites are the main ingredient of the macaroons.
  • Ingredients

  1. Almond meal- 1 1/2
  2. Confectioner's sugar-1 3/4 cups
  3. Salt-1/4 tsp
  4. Egg whites-4
  5. Granulated sugar-1/2 cup
  6. Almond extract-1/4 tsp
  7. Strained jam or other desired fillings

  • Whisk together almond meal and confectioner's sugar and sift over a large bowl.
  • Beat egg whites until frothy, 1 to 2 minutes. Slowly add granulated sugar and almond extract, beat until medium shiny peaks, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Fold egg whites into almond mixture until combined. Mix vigorously with spatula until the mixture sinks easily into a smooth mass and has the consistency of honey. Transfer mixture to a pastry bag, cut off 1/2 inch off tip. Pipe 1-inch rounds about 1 inch apart on parchment-lined sheets.
  • Let dry 30 minutes to an hour and a half until tops are firm and dry. Preheat oven to 350. Bake one sheet at a time for about 14 minutes, rotating once. Let cool completely on wire racks before filling and sandwiching cookies together.

                                     In simple words 'I love gulabjamun'.This is always i have to tell whenever i think about it .like what i say i like gulbjamuns very very well.at the beginning i tried to make gulab jamuns every time and always fails finally i made perfect gulabjamuns .
                                          Gulab jamun is a milk-solid  based desert.its made mainly from milk solids.traditionally from freshly curdled milk.its a rich sweet desert and home made gulab jamun is usually made up of powderd milk.The making contain only two steps .first step is to make the dough and small balls and then fry them .the next step is to make the sugar syrup and put the small gulab jamun balls into it and the gulb jamuns are ready .

  •  First   boil  water and sugar in a pan.continue the process until it become a thick syrup.
  • Then add maida,baking soda,milk powder,and add some ghee and yogurt and mix well.
  •  Then make small balls  by hands.
  •  Then  fry them in oil.and put  into the sugar syrup .


Unniyappam is our malayalees all time favourite  sweet and delicious snack ever .and its round in shape like mottas.Whenever i ate the unniyappam i always think about one scene in Yodha malayalam movie .
                       Mixing up the all ingredients and making the correct consistency gives  perfect unniyappams.We can make this snack by adding additional ingredients like banana,avil etc.it makes more tastier and softer unniyapams.For storing more days dont added bananas .try the recipe below.

  •  Melt jaggery in water.

  •  Cut and roast coconut bits in ghee.
  •  Boil water and  add the warm rava,maida , jaggery , salt ,cardamom together and mix well.
  • Boil the oil and  slowly pour batter into the moulds and cook till both sides are done.

pazham nirachath,banana stuffed,iftar,ramadan,snacks,recipe

                                   pazham nirachath or stuffed banana is an easy snack every can make .and it also a malabari dish.especially making this during ramadan season and also we can have this as a evening snack.

The first image is after frying and the second one is before frying .fill the coconut filling mixture in this manner and close the sides using maida.Its makes perfect pazham nirachath and also the maida we closed the sides protect the bananas from  srouting .try the recipe below .

  • Take a bowl and add grated coconut , sugar ,and  cardamom  and mix together .
  •  Peel the banana and make a shallow slit lengthwise.Remove the center of banana with black seed.
  • Fill the slit with coconut sugar stuffing  mixture .
  •  Heat oil in a pan and fry them till they become golden  brown in colour.
  • Drain the oil and serve it with hot cup of tea.

Todays recipe have a speciality coz its my favourite dish forever .I love making  and eating carrot halwa .Its a simple process .Carrot halwa is rich in sweet and yummy .Its looks more attractive by its colour .There is no addition of colours required.its alraedy orange in colour and its make it perfect in every way.
           This recipe is cooker recipe.this carrot making in  a cooker.its make this desert easy and simple one.Tha main ingredient of the halwa is carrot.Its always available in stores even at home.so gratied  carrots and  ghee and sugar gives a fabulous and yummy sweet  desert .lets try the simple recipe .


  1. Grated carrot-1/2 kg
  2. Milk-1cup
  3. Ghee-2tsp
  4. Sugar -1small bowl
  5. Cashew nut
  6. Raisins 

Steps of making

  •  Pressure Cook  grated carrot and milk in a cooker for one whistle.then open the cooker and keep stirring.
  •  Then add  cardamom and some sugar  into thisthen keep  stirring .
  •  Stir well until the milk become fully evaporate.At the end  move into a serving bowl and add some ghee roasted cashews and raisins  into this. 

                                Chammanthis are common .But todays speciality is that its made by my mom.thats make me mouth watered.I love my moms cooking.because whatever she make its becoming awesome.Today special is mango chammanthi.
                       The main ingredient of the chammanthi is mangoes .This is mango season .so mango is available in all stores and even  at  everyones home. so  lets  try  the  mango  chammanthi recipe and have fun.

          cutting mangoes into small pieces and processing the mango pieces with the chilly powder,salt,water,and small onions and  keep aside. then adding the mustard and neem leaves into a pan and putting this  blended mango mixture into this pan and mix well.garnish with coriander leaves .


          1. Cut mangoes-1 cup
          2. Chillypowder-3tsp
          3. Salt-2tsp
          4. Water-3tsp
          5. Neem leaves
          6. Mustard-2tsp
          7. Small onion -6no
          8. Corainder leaves


          • Add  small onion ,cut mangoes,chilly powder,salt into a blender and add little water for  smoothness.Then process well.
          • Take a pan and put some oil then add some mustard and neem leaves .then add this into the mango  mixture.
          • Serve this into  a bowl  and Garnish with coriander leaves .
