                                                                         Summer days are filled with fresh organic mangoes everywhere in the world.So here i introduce an easy and  sweet recipe of mango with you.This mango pola also called mango cake is easy to prepare and this looks beautiful with the original colour of fresh mangoes and it taste amazing .This snacks is mainly prepared in southindia especially in kerala during ramadan days for break the fast.No oven or no steamer is required to make this easy mango cake .This mango pola/mango cake is prepared using a normal pan .So lets make the mango pola /mango cake and let me know your valuable comments in comment section.I am attaching the making video in my youtube channel as well.You can it watch if you want to.

Mango pola /mango cake Ingredients

  1. Mango puree-1 cup
  2. Sugar-4tbsp
  3. Semolina -5tbsp
  4. Eggs-4 nos
  5. Water-3tbsp
Method 
  • Slice and chop mango.
  • Take a blender and add this fresh mango inside and grind into a paste.no need to add water .This must cameout in a smooth texture.No lumps .
  • Take a large bowl.
  • Add prepared fresh mango puree ,Sugar,Semolina ,Eggs and water as per above mentioned volume.
  • Grind the all ingredients into a smooth paste .Make sure that no lumps are formed.
  • Take a cake bowl or a plate to make this mango pola.Greece it with some ghee or oil.
  • Pour the prepared batter into this and spread the batter all along the sides by a spoon and tap 3 times to reach every single portion of the plate.
  • Heat a pan and place a ring stand inside .next place the mango pola batter above the stand .
  • Slow cook about 20 to 25 minutes by closed with a lid .
  • At First  the mango cake/mango pola raise little then it move back to its shape .Then you can understand that its done cooking.
  • Take out the cake bowl from pan and allow to cool in room temperature first and then allow to cool in refrigerate about 30 minutes .
  • later serve the tasty super easy and yummy mango pola/ango cake .have fun.

It is served as evening snack or as part of breakfast. Ela Ada can be made in wheat and rice flour and the fillings can vary as you prefer. INGREDIENTS

For melting jaggery 1.Little Water 2.Jaggery - 4 piece For filling 1.Grated Coconut - 1 cup 3.Melted Jaggery For boiling water 1.Water-3 cup 2.Salt -pinch For dough 1.Rice flour - 1 and 1/2 cup 2.Boiled water -3 cup
3.Green jackfruit flour-1/3 cup
4.Banana leaf to wrap


METHOD

  • To begin making ela ada recipe ,first keep a pan on the gas stove and bring water to boil.
  • Add pinch of salt into the water .
  • Add 1 and 1/2 cup rice flour into the boiling water.
  • Also add 1/3 cup green jackfruit flour into it.
  • Mix gradually and keep stirring until the water completely disappear.
  • Move this into a flatten plate .
  • Wait to cool down otherwise hands will burn
  • Knead it with your hands to make a soft dough and keep aside.
  • Next combine 1 and 1/ cup grated coconut with melted jaggery syrup.
  • Take a piece of banana leaf and place the dough in the centre .
  • Flatten the dough with wet fingers to get a nice and even flattened dough.
  • Place the ela ad in a steamer and cook for 10 minute.
  • Once done serve it .

Ingredients

  1. Mango-4 no
  2. Sugar-1/2 cup
  3. Almond- for garnishing
  4. Milk-1 &1/2 litre
  5. Vermicelli-1/2 cup
  6. Chopped mango-for garnishing
Method

  • Slice mango.Add it  into a blender and make a puree.
  • Boil milk in  apan.
  • Add 1/2 cup roasted vermicelli and mix well.
  • Add sugar and mix well.
  • Slow cook this and stir continuesly.
  • When it start to thick add some ghee .
  • Allow to cool completely
  • After cooling add the prepared mango puree into this and mix well.
  • Serve into  a glass and garnish with chopped mango and almond .

Ingredients

  1. Vanilla Icecream
  2. Kas kas
  3. Milk
  4. Cofee powder
  5. Sugar
  6. Apple
  7. Banana

Method


  • Boil  1/2 glass Milk .Then add 1/2tsp coffe powder and 1tsp sugar.Keep aside 
  • Soak some kas kas in cold water and keep aside .
  • Take a glass and garnish with chocolate syrup.
  • Pour the coffe mixture into the bottom like in this picture.
  • add some vanilla scoope ice cream 
  • Next add some chopped apples and bananas .
  • Add some kas kas as next layer.
  • Again add scoop of vanilla ice cream and add more kas kas .
  • Top of the glass garnish with some pomegranate fruit .
  • You can add roasted cashews and corn flakes on the top if you want.

Everyone well known about pappadams.This recipe is mainly for the pappadam lovers .A simple and unique way of making the pappadam with the aroma tasty fried coconuts.Usually south indiands are very fond of the pappadam.So i dedicate this easiest recipe for them.If you havent anything to eat with the lunch,then make this tasty pappads and eat a fantastic lunch ever.So lets try the recipe and comment your valuable opinions.

Ingredients

  1. Pappad
  2. Grated coconut-2tbsp
  3. Small onions(shallots)-10
  4. Curry leaves
  5. Mustard-1tsp
  6. Red Chilli Flakes
  7. Turmeric Powder-1tsp
  8. Salt-a pinch
  9. Coconut Oil-for frying
Method

  • Slice pappadams into small size and fry them in hot oil .Then keep aside.
  • Heat a pan and add some coconut oil
  • Add mustard and allow to crackle them.
  • After crackling mustard add some curry leaves .
  • Add chopped small onions and then grated coconut . stir well until it turns golden colour .
  • Next add the spices turmeric powder and salt and stir well.
  • Finally add the fried papadams into this and mix well.
  • Serve with more curry leaves.
