                      Bhatoora is a north indian and pakistan recipe.Main ingredient is the maida .Making a smooth dough is the first step of preparing bhaturas.Making small balls and flattening the balls and  frying them in oil is the next step .This is a simple recipe that   everyone can prepare at home .

Ingredients


  1. All purpose flour (Maida)-2 cup
  2. Semolina-4tsp
  3. Yogurt-2tsp
  4. Sugar-2tsp
  5. Salt-1tsp
  6. Baking soda-1tsp
  7. Oil as required
  8. Water as required

Method

  • Take a bowl and add maida , semolina, yogurt,sugar , salt, baking soda, oil, water and mix the whole ingredients together and make a smooth dough.
  • Cover it with a wet towel for 1 hour.
  • Make small laddu size balls and flattened them using a rolling pin.
  • Hot some oil in  a pan and deep fry the bhatooras until its puffs up and turn golden in colour .
  • Serve the hot bhatooras with chana masala .

  1. Grated Coconut-1/2 cup

Dosha

  1. Maida-1 cup
  2. Water as needed
  3. Egg-1
  4. Salt to taste

Method

  • Mix grated coconut and sugar in a bowl and keep aside .
  • Add maida ,salt,egg in a bowl and mix well.
  • Then add enough water to make a  thin batter .
  • Hot a pan and spread some oil and pour little batter and spread it thinnly.
  • Flip them in between using a spatula.
  • Remove to a plate and fill this dosha with the grated coconut and sugar mixture .

Ingredients


  1. Rava-3/4 cup
  2. Onions-1
  3. Tomato-1
  4. Green cilly-5
  5. Mustard-1/4 tsp
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Water-1 1/2 cup

  9. Ginger-2tsp
  10. Garlic-1 clove
  11. Coriander leaves

Method

  • Roast rava in a pan is the first step .Add little by little rava and make sure that its  fully roasted then keep aside .
  •  Take a pan and pour some oil .Next crackle some mustard in it.
  • Add the chopped onions and stir well.Add pinch of salt. this make the onions  easily get cooked .
  • Next add sliced tomatos,curry leaves ,coriander leaves,garlic,ginger ,green chilly  and saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add the water and bring the mixture to boil.
  • Finally add the roasted rava into this and mix well.
  • Cover it with a lid and cook in low flame
  • Turn off heat and move into a plate and garnish  with more  curry leaves ,cashew nuts. .

  1. Noodles-1 packet
  2. Egg-2
  3. Green chillies-2
  4. Salt-as needed
  5. Water-1 cup
  6. Chilly powder-2tsp

Method


  • Boil water in a pan along with noodles salt and little oil.
  • Cook this about 5 minutes .Dont overcook noodles.
  • After cooking drain the water from it and keep aside.
  • Hot an another pan and add some oil .Next add the sliced tomatos . onions, and green chillies  into this and cook about 5 minutes til its change its colour.
  • Add the coriander powder,chilly powder,pepper powder into this and stir well.Add more  salt if required.Then Add  the chopped coriander leaves  and mix well.
  • Crack eggs and stir well.Finally add the cooked noodles into this and  mix everything well.Close the pan and cook about 2 minutes in low flame .Finally garnish with curry leaves.

Steps of making

  • Remove  the bread slices ang grate them in a mixer .

  • Heat one cup of water in a pressure cooker and put cardamom in the water .Close it with a lid and bring it to boil .place the puttu maker by replacing the whistle . Allow to steam till the steams comeout .

  1. Wheat flour
  2. Oil

Steps  of making

  • Take some wheat flour in a bowl and add  pinch of salt and  little amount of oil .
  • Take some water and add little by little as required.Dont add more water .it destroy the consistency of the dough.make dough like chapathis dough .Allow 30 minutes to keep freely  .
  • Take small amount of the dough and  make small balls and roll them on hard surface with some dry wheat flour and make small circle shape  pooris by using  roller.make all the dough like this .
  • Hot a pan and add some oil and fry the pooris in the hot oil by allowing them to swollen  full and flip both sides in between .After fryng take them out of pan and  use a napkin or tissue paper to dry the oil contained in it.

Steps of making 

  • Take a pan and Fry the oats in a low flame and keep aside .

  • Then add sliced onion,tomato,green chillies ,curry leaves and   cook for 5 minutes and add some salt and little water and mix well.When the water and contents mix together add the fried oats into this and stir well.
  • Close the cover of pan about 10 minutes .Serve into a plate and garnish with coriander leaves.

            South indians favourite food.yes our masala dosha .Its a simple recipe .if we have the making batte we can make doshas spontaneously.This is  each and everyones favourite recipe.

Ingredients

  1. Rice
  2. Urad dal 
  3. cooked rice
  4. Basic soda

Steps of making


  • First step is the preparation of the dosha batter .for this we need to put the rice  and urad dal  in water  previous day morning we gonna prepare dosha.
  • At night grind the rice , urad dal and  cooked rice by adding required amout of water by checking its consistency.and also add one pinch of yeast.
  • Take a dosha making  pan and add little amount of batter in a  circle  way and make doshas  :)

Potato  masala |urulankizhangu masala 

                     This is the masala that ate along with dosha .Actually this potato give the name masala dosha.This potato masala used as a filling in the doshas and it give the taste of masala dosha .we can replace the potato with kolli or whtever we want at home .

  2. Salt
  3. Turmeric powder
  4. Chilly powder
  5. Water
  6. Curry leaves

  9. Red chilly

Steps of making

  • Take a pressure cooker and add sliced potato with salt ,turmeric powder and required amount of  water and cook for 3 whistle .After whistle, off the stove and  open the cover of cooker .
  • Hot a pan  and add some oil and crackle some mustard  and add some dry red chillies .
  • Add the cooked potatos into the pan and add chilly powder ,green chillies and garnish with curry leaves .Your masala is ready .Have with the above prepared dosha along with this masala .



This is a simple naan recipe .Everyone can make this at home very fast.This naan is prepared on tawa .Its required only  7 ingredients.The time required to make this is less.but allowing the dough to smooth and soft is taking minimum 2 hours .

Steps of making

  • Take a bowl and add 2 cup of maida and add baking soda,salt,sugar,curd and oil then mix well.add some warm water to knea the dough .add little by little water and knead the dough well.
  • Put little oil on the top of the dough and keep this for 2-3 hours in a warm place .
  • Pour some maida on hands and make small balls using this dough .
  • Take the small balls and put this in maida .then make naan using a roller.Now its ready to place on tawa.
  • Hot a tawa and place  the naan on tawa and partially cook this.flip both sides .
  • Take this naan out of thawa when its become browned in colour and charred.Apply some butter over and serve with your favourite curries .here it served with butter chicken .

                 Roti pathiris are small pathiris . Its tastes amazing and its attractive to look .different from other pathiris .We can make this as   breakfast.Tomato curry and mutton roasts are more related to have with this .That will  make a  hot  spicy food.
                 Similar to other pathiris rice flour is the main content and the special ingredient is coconut bites and coconut grated .Mostly its made by muslims like other pathiris .Its a pancake made of rice flour and simple to prepare .follow the recipe .

Ingredients

  1. Rice flour 
  2. Grated coconut
  3. Coconut bites
  4. Small onions chopped 
  5. Cumin

Steps of making

  • First step of roti pathiri is making the pathiri dough .for this hot a pan and add some water and salt .
  • when the water reaches its boiling point add the rice flour to the hot water little by little and also stir well at the same time .dont stop stirring its  will make the dough worst .
  • Then add grated coconut ,coconut bites ,chopped small onions  and cumin into the  dough and mix well.knead it until the dough uniformly smooth and less sticky.
  • Roll out some portion of dough and take a small round shape ring and put the dough and press well and roll over the ring using a roller.and make others too.
  • Hot a pan and put some oil all over the pan and put this  into the pan and cook until its change colour into light brown and flip them in between .
  • Take a plate and serve with naadan  tomato curry or mutton roast .

                                      Appam is a pancake made with rice flour and coconut milk.Its familiar in  kerala and tamilnadu areas.Its a easy and tasty  food mostly have during morning as  breakfast  and night as side dish.when its cooked its center is  firm to touch but remains soft inside and is sweeter as a result of the coconut milk used in this .
                          The  main ingredients are  rice flour and coconut milk.then the whole thing combine into one single mixture.that is used to create the batter of appam or paalappam.the batter contains riceflour,coconut milk,sugar,semolina,water.then using this batter creating many round shape appam.

Steps of making

  • Roast the rava in a pan .
  • Take a blender and add  rice flour,coconut  milk, sugar,semolina,water  and process well .make it smoother and test to make the correct efficiency .
  • Hot  a pan and put this batter into the pan in a round shape and close it by a cap .
  • After few minutes when steams come out open the pan and take the appam out and serve into a plate.

Steps of making

  • put rice and black gram together in water for 1 hour .
  • then grind the rice,black gram and boiled rice(if required) with required  water .
  • then add some salt into this batter.
  • take an idali thattu and pour the batter on it.and fill all the thattu like this.
  • close the idali thattu and cook it in high flame for 10 minutes.

Tips

Add yeast in the batter .it makes the idali more softer and fluffy.

Steps of making

  • Take a bowl and  put some ragiflour,salt, fennel,cardamom.then sprinkle water on it little by little  thus it wet the mix and  mix well.       
  • Take a puttu kudam then put the mixture in the order coconut then ragimix then coconut .then put it on the kudam  and take it out when steams comes out.
  • Serve it into a plate.

Tips

  • Take some cornflour and add some water in it and put this into the curry.it makes the kadala  gravy thick.

 Puttu  is our keralians traditional breakfast.But everyone like changes.so this is a puttu made by using oats.its healthy and tasty too.
                 The main ingredient of this recipe is oats like the name indicates.Its a simple one to make and everyone will like this.The speciality is that its making in our coconut shell and its of the shape.

Steps of making

  • Take a pan and add the oats.then stirr well until its become little fried.
  • Then take  a bowl and this fried oats and add a pinch of salt and add some  fennel for smell.
  • Add water by sprinkle it on oasts mixture by little little.then mix well.
  • Take a chiratta and make three holes under the chiratta.
  • Then add some grated coconut  first into the chiratta then add the some oats mix then again add the grated coconut little.then close it by any plate.
  • place this chiratta  puttu on a kudam  and leave it until steam passes .
  • Push the chiratta puttu into a serving plate .

  1. Hot water(for rice flour)
  2. Normal water(for maida)
  3. Eggs-2
  4. Rice flour-2 glass
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Maida-3/4 glass

Steps of making

  • Take a blender and add the required amount of eggs ,rice flour,salt and hot water,and process well.process well till the consistency of the batter obtained.move this into a bowl.
  • Take an another  bowl and add some maida and put some normal water and beat well.
  • The add the maida mix into the riceflour mix well beat well.
  • Take a clay pan and heat in a medium flame well. dont give a chance to  crack the pan.so be careful when it  taking and putting in flame.
  • Then take a large spoon of batter and spread this into the clay  pan in round shape like in the picture .dont  pour too much amount of batter .
  • After this close the clay pan with a cap for few minutes .after some time when we check we can see holes are starting to form on the appam.it might take few times to make the perfect ottappam.so wait till its become fully perfect.
  • Your ottappam is ready now .serve it along with coconut milk.
