Thalassery biriyani,recipe,homemade,simple
            This is  malabar cuisine .The main differnce of the thalassery biriyani with the others is the rice.the rice used in this biriyani is kaima /short grain.This is most popular in malabar weddings and other celebrations and parties.The name thalassery biriyani is originated from thalassery .
                   This is fabulous recipe everyone can try.Its easy to make and yummy to have .This dish is rich in nutritions and its a source of vitamins,proteins,carbohydrate and minerals .Evryone just try this out.Follow the recipe .

Ingredients 

  1.  Chicken
  2. Biriyani rice
  3. Onion
  4. Tomato
  5. Lemon
  6. Ghee
  7. Pea nut
  8. Ginger garlic paste
  9. Tamarind powder
  10. Red chilly
  11. Green chilly
  12. Curry leaves
  13. Coriander leaves
  14. Oil
  15.  Salt

steps of making 

  • Wash and clean the chicken very well  and make lines onth chicken for marinating masala. The lines are  very useful to  attach the masala in the chicken .
  •  marinate the chicken with  smashed chilly powder  ,salt,turmeric powder and wait for some minutes.

  •  hot a pan and add some oil and fry the chicken in low flame.

  • Fry the eggs   If  boiled  eggs are required in this biriyani.

  • Add tomato,green chilly and  green chilly into this and  stir well.add the chicken pieces into this and stir well. 

  • Add coriander leaves and curry leaves into this and stir well the mixtures .Add required amount of water into the mixture and cook for few minutes.

  • Hot a pan add put some ghee .then add the onions and stir well until its change colour into brown and keep it aside and  fry the pea nut in the ghee. 

  • Add the washed soaked drained rice into this and stir well.Cook this with required water.

  • After  the chicken and rice  cooked  mix the both items and garnish with  onions and peanut .
